week-1



                  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2
                    
                        As part of our B.Ed curriculum the second phase of school internship program started on 7th November,2018. It is a 40 days program. The school allotted to me was A.S.H.S.S, Parippally. There were a group 13 students from six optional subjects. From Physical science there were 3 of us and we were asked to meet the concern teachers of specified subjects. I was asked to take physics subject in 8th  standard and chemistry in 9th standard.
 
                         FIRST WEEK-07/11/2018 to 09/11/2018
                           The second phase of school internship started on 07/11/2018, Wednesday. On that day I reached the school at 9.30 am and sign the attendance register. The classes started at 9.30 am after morning prayer. Since the timetable and portions were already collected we start the class straight away. On the first day I had class inn 6th hour in 8C and 7th hour in 9A. After giving an introduction about the chapter, I started to teach the chapter magnetism in 8th standard. For teaching the topic natural and artificial magnets I used various experiments and activities. Then in the 7th period in 9th standard , I started to teach the topic oxygen and its preparation from the unit non-metals. Various experiments are used to convey this topic.
              On the second day(o8/11/18)  I reached school by 9.00 am. The classes started at 9.30 am after the morning assembly. As per the timetable I had no classes on this day. I had two substitutions in 8c and 9D. In the 8th standard, I taught them physics on the topic Earth as a magnet. I used various learning aids to teach the topic.
      On the last day(o9/11/18) of the week I reached school at 9.15 am. I had a class in 8C and a substitution in 9A class. In the 8th standard I taught the topic magnetic field using different activities and in 9th standard I taught the topic nitrogen and hydrogen from the unit non-metals. The classes ended at 3.30pm after national anthem.
